The Eastern Armenian Pre-Intermediate Level course is an eight-week intensive study program (48 hours total/ 6 hours weekly instruction). It is intended to provide participants with an opportunity to further develop their Armenian proficiency level with a continuous focus on their communicative ability in all four skills, i.e. listening, reading, writing, and speaking. The course employs task-based and communicative-based teaching and learning approaches. The intercultural competence is an integral part of the Eastern Armenian Language course which introduces basic objective and unbiased views of the Armenian traditions and practices. Participants’ individual needs and learning styles are considered to make sure language acquisition and cultural adaptation are smooth, enjoyable, and worthwhile. The course includes video materials, audio materials, quizzes, real-life situations, hands-on activities, role plays and teamwork.
