The Selection Process
AUA practices holistic admissions. We select students who have the skills and ability to succeed at AUA and ensure that AUA is well suited to their educational and career goals. Once you submit your application, it is screened for technical eligibility (refer to the application requirements for more information). If your application is complete and deemed eligible. Both the Academic Program Admissions and the Graduate Admissions Committees conduct a thorough review of your application.
As admission to AUA is competitive, both Committees, the Academic Program Admissions and the Graduate Admissions, consider your academic and personal information, including academic credentials, professional experience, graduate entrance exam scores, the statement of purpose, recommendation letters, and the interview (if you are invited to one)․
Decisions made by the Graduate Admissions Committee cannot be appealed.
NOTIFICATIONS
The Office of Admissions will communicate with you regularly via email throughout the application process. You will receive updates from us about your application status, upcoming admission deadlines, and more. You may also receive invitation for an interview during this time. If you are eligible and submit a complete application, you will receive notification of your admission status within twelve weeks counting from the deadline to which you applied.

TARGET SCORES
The target scores listed below are for informational purposes only. You should know that scoring above the targets does not guarantee admission to AUA. On the other hand, you may still be considered for conditional admission if scoring less than the target but higher than the automatic denial threshold. Make sure to review our application requirements in detail to understand which test(s) you should take, learn about internal assessments available for certain programs or if you are eligible for a waiver.
