Student Email

Since summer 2013 AUA email system is powered by Google Mail (part of Google Workspace for Education product)

How to start using AUA webmail?

  • Visit AUA System Administrator / IT Specialist in Main Building, Room #316M to receive email account credentials
  • After the email account creation, the AUA credentials and brief information about main network services are sent to student’s personal email address registered in the UMS (im.aua.am) system.
  • Click Webmail from AUA website home page menu bar right side
  • Click For Students

What is the maximum size of mail I can send?

You can send up to 25Mb in attachments. If you have more than one attachment, they can’t add up to more than 25Mb.

If your file is greater than 25Mb, Gmail automatically adds a Google Drive link in the email instead of including it as an attachment. The person you send the file to can download it so they’ll have access to it even if you remove it from Google Drive.

What will happen with my email address after graduation?

After graduation your @edu.aua.am email address is subject to transition to @alumni.aua.am address. You will receive separate notification from AUA (within 1-2 months upon graduation) about your email address change.

You will be able to receive emails sent to your @edu.aua.am address within 2 months, counting from the day you received email address change notification email. Please visit For Alumni section for details about renamed email address.

Your mailbox content as well as Google Drive content will be retained after account transition from @edu.aua.am to @alumni.aua.am.
