BS in Economics Program Goals
Program-Specific Goals:
- Goal 1: Equip students with theoretical knowledge, quantitative skills, and analytical abilities to investigate, evaluate, and solve economic problems and various policy questions.
- Student Learning Outcomes:
- 1.1 Explain and apply fundamentals of economic theory and policy to different situations in life. Apply economic analyses to their everyday lives and see economics in real-world situations.
- 1.2 Collect and analyze economic data to formulate problems and produce well-reasoned solutions relating to economic issues and public policy.
- Student Learning Outcomes:
- Goal 2: Develop creative and critical thinking and decision-making skills for complex business problems, supported by the appropriate use of analytical and quantitative techniques.

- 2.1 Identify and analyze economic rationale for problems at hand.
