Welcome! If you are interested in transferring to the American University of Armenia to complete your graduate or undergraduate studies, then you are in the right place. Please review this page in detail to ensure you have all the information necessary for the Office of Admissions to process your application.
Students interested in transferring to the American University of Armenia must submit a Transfer Application Supplement along with an Application for Admission. Please note that for your transfer application to be complete, you must upload the scans of your official transcript(s) for all colleges and universities you have attended. The transcript must include all courses completed for each year along with the grades received and a cumulative GPA. Official copies must bear the official stamp or seal of the institution as well as the signature of the appropriate official.
If admitted, the academic department to which a student is accepted will complete a course-by-course evaluation of transfer credits. Transfer students will then receive a Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE), which indicates the courses accepted for transfer to the American University of Armenia. The registrar notes approved transfer credits on students’ academic transcripts. Please note that credits can only be transferred if AUA receives your official transcript(s).
Please refer to the Transfer Credit policy for detailed information on general approval guidelines, graduate transfer specifics, undergraduate transfer specifics, transfer of GPA, AUA residency requirements, and more.
If you have additional questions on whether an institution is accredited and approved for transfer to AUA, please contact the Office of the Registrar by emailing email@example.com. Please email the Office of Admissions at firstname.lastname@example.org with any additional questions regarding your transfer to AUA.
